Draft — pending legal review. Version 2.2 · Effective 20 October 2026 · Last updated 19 October 2026. This text is in force as published here; it is being reviewed by a lawyer and may be revised, and any revision that affects you will be announced as described below.
This page is written in English, and the English text is the authoritative version. It is shown in English whichever language you choose in the language switcher, with a short note at the top in your language, until translations of our policies have had legal review.
These terms govern your use of Neda eCampus: the website at nedaecampus.com, the learning platforms at learn.nedaecampus.com and openedx.nedaecampus.com, the account service at auth.nedaecampus.com, the creator workspace and Neda Creator at creator.nedaecampus.com. They are a contract between you and Neda eLearning Solutions, Austria (“Neda”, “we”, “us”). Our full legal name, address and registration details are in the Imprint. You can reach us at info@neda-els.com, by phone on +43 676 4079215, or through the contact form.
Two other documents form part of these terms: the Refund and Withdrawal Policy and the Acceptable Use and Content Standards. If you publish courses or use Neda Creator, the Creator Agreement applies as well, and it wins over these terms on creator matters. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy; that is information for you, not a contract you have to accept.

2. Who may use Neda eCampus
Neda eCampus is a professional learning platform, and most of its courses are written for adults. We do not set a minimum age, and we do not ask for your date of birth or an identity document, because that would mean collecting more personal data than the service needs.
If you are under 18, the law where you live may limit which contracts you can make on your own. In Austria, a minor can generally make only everyday purchases that suit their age and that they can pay for from their own money; anything beyond that needs the consent of a parent or guardian to be binding. So please ask a parent or guardian before you buy a course or create an account, and let them read these terms with you. If a purchase was made without the consent it needed, a parent or guardian can contact us and we will refund it and remove the enrolment.
If you are under 14, wherever we would ask for your consent to use your personal data in a way that is not needed to provide the service — for example optional cookies — a parent or guardian has to give or approve that consent for you. Teachers and organisations that enrol learners under 18 are responsible for having the consents those learners need. Course content is chosen by its creator and may not be suitable for younger learners; the course page describes who a course is for.
You may use Neda eCampus as a consumer, or on behalf of a business or other organisation. If you accept these terms for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. Some parts of these terms apply only to consumers, or only to business customers; where that is so, the section says so. A “consumer” is someone acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
3. Your account
One account signs you in everywhere on Neda eCampus. You can sign in with an email address and password, or with your Google account if you choose to. You can, and for some accounts must, use two-factor authentication: a second step, such as a code from an authenticator app, in addition to your password.
How you accept these terms. When you create an account, we ask you to accept these terms by ticking a box that is not ticked in advance: on the registration form, or, if you create your account with Google, on the page that follows. The Privacy Policy is linked beside the box for you to read; it is information, not something you agree to. You can check and correct your details at any point before you submit. We record which version of these terms you accepted, when, how (registration form, Google, or a later acceptance at log-in) and in which language the page was shown, and we keep every version of these terms, so that we can show you later exactly what you agreed to.
- Give us accurate details and keep your email address up to date. We send order confirmations and important notices there.
- Your account is personal. Do not share your sign-in details or let anyone else use your account.
- Keep your password and second factor private. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised. Tell us straight away at info@neda-els.com if you think someone else has used it.
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account ends your access to every course on it, including courses you have paid for (section 19). What happens to your data when you close your account is described in the Privacy Policy, including the records we must keep for tax purposes.
4. What we sell, and who the seller is
Courses on Neda eCampus are made either by us or by independent course creators. In every case Neda is the seller. When you buy a course, your contract is with Neda. Neda takes your payment, issues the receipt, and is responsible to you for providing access and for the rights described in these terms. Creators license their content to us. The course page names the creator, so you know who made what you are learning from.
Courses are provided online, on our learning platforms. They are not sent to you as files, unless the creator has chosen to make some materials downloadable.
We also plan to offer paid plans for course creators: course spaces and access to Neda Creator. These are not on sale yet. The course space packages and their prices are set out in the Creator Agreement, which will apply to them, and their full conditions will be published there before they go on sale.
5. What you need to use a course
Courses run in a web browser. You do not need to install any software. You need:
- an internet connection, fast enough for video if the course contains video;
- a current version of a common browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on a computer, tablet or phone;
- JavaScript switched on, and cookies allowed for nedaecampus.com and its subdomains. Signing in does not work without them. The Cookie Policy explains which cookies are used.
Where a course needs anything more, such as sound, a particular file viewer or software for exercises, the course page says so. Courses can be used only while you are signed in to your account. Apart from that, we do not apply technical copy protection to course content. Accessibility information for the platform is in the Accessibility Statement.
6. How you buy a course
You buy courses on nedaecampus.com. The steps are:
- Choose a course and go to the checkout.
- Sign in, or create an account. You need an account to receive access.
- Check your order: the course, the price and your details. You can correct any mistake in the checkout fields, or go back and change your choice, at any point before you place the order.
- Confirm that you accept these terms and the Refund and Withdrawal Policy. For a paid course, we also ask about immediate access and your right of withdrawal (section 8).
- Click the final order button. Its label makes clear that clicking it means you are ordering with an obligation to pay.
When you click the order button, you send us a binding order. The contract is made when we accept it. We accept by confirming your order by email once your payment is confirmed. If the payment fails or is cancelled, no contract is made. For a free course, the contract is made when you enrol.
The confirmation email sets out what you bought, the price, and, for a paid course, the consent and acknowledgement you gave about your right of withdrawal. It links to these terms and to the Refund and Withdrawal Policy. Please keep it. We store your order and keep every version of these terms; on request, we will send you a copy of your order and of the version that applied to it. Contracts are made in English.
7. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros. The price shown on the course page and at checkout is the total you pay. We add nothing on top. We do not charge VAT, because we use the Austrian small-business exemption (Kleinunternehmerregelung); your receipt states this. If our VAT position changes, we will update the prices shown. The price of an order already placed does not change.
If we show an approximate amount in another currency, it is for guidance only. You are charged in euros. Your bank or card issuer converts the amount at its own rate and may charge its own fees, so the amount on your statement can differ from the guide figure.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland). The payment methods available are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. We never see or store your full card details. If you asked for immediate access, the course becomes available once payment is confirmed, normally within minutes. If access does not appear, contact us.
8. Your right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, you have a legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
A course is digital content that we can make available straight away. At checkout we ask whether you want access immediately. If you do, you expressly agree that we start providing the course before the 14 days are over, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access begins. We confirm your consent and acknowledgement in the order confirmation email. If any of these steps is missing, your right of withdrawal continues for the full 14 days.
Losing the right of withdrawal does not affect your rights if a course is faulty (section 9). How to withdraw, what happens if you do not ask for immediate access, the model withdrawal form, and how refunds are paid are all in the Refund and Withdrawal Policy.
9. If a course is faulty: your legal rights
If you are a consumer, the law (in Austria, the Consumer Warranty Act, Verbrauchergewährleistungsgesetz) gives you rights when digital content does not conform to the contract. We do not replace those rights with a warranty of our own, and nothing in these terms limits them.
What a course must be. A course you buy must match its description on the course page. It must be suitable for any purpose stated there, and have the features and quality you can reasonably expect from a course of its kind: for example, that its lessons open and play, and that it is in the language stated. While you have access, we provide the updates needed to keep it that way, including security updates to the platform.
What you can ask for. If a course does not conform, you can first ask us to fix it. We will do so free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you. If we cannot fix it, refuse, or fail to fix it in reasonable time, or if the problem is serious, you can ask for a price reduction, or end the contract and get your money back. You cannot end the contract for a minor problem, but you can still ask for it to be fixed or for a price reduction. A refund for a faulty course is paid within 14 days.
Who has to prove what. Access to a course is provided over a period of time. If a problem appears while you have access, it is for us to show that the course did conform. For anything supplied to you once, such as a downloadable file, a problem that appears within one year is presumed to have been there from the start. We may ask you to help us find out whether the cause lies in your own device or connection, so far as that is reasonable and the least intrusive way to check. We are not responsible for a problem caused only by your device or software not meeting the requirements in section 5.
How to tell us. Email info@neda-els.com, say which course and what is wrong. We will look at the course, not argue. Statutory time limits apply to these claims.
Courses are educational. They do not guarantee any particular result, such as passing an exam or getting a job, unless the course page expressly promises it. They are not professional advice for your particular situation, and you should not rely on them as such.
If you buy as a business, the statutory warranty under Austrian general civil law applies, subject to section 20.
10. How long you can access a course
There is no fixed end date. Access to a course you have bought continues for as long as that course remains available on Neda eCampus and your account remains open. We do not promise “lifetime access”, because that would not be true.
A course can stop being offered, for example because its creator stops publishing with us. It is then archived rather than removed, and you keep access while it is archived. Before a course you are enrolled in is permanently deleted, we email you at least 30 days in advance. Where the creator allows downloads, you can save the course materials during that time. The Archival and Retention Policy has the detail.
We may have to remove a course sooner: where the law, a court or an authority requires it, or where the content infringes someone else’s rights. If we remove a paid course within 30 days of your purchase, for any reason other than your own breach of these terms, we refund it in full. Your rights in sections 9 and 17 are not affected.
11. Free courses and enrolment codes
Some courses are free to everyone. Others are open only to people who have an enrolment code from the organisation behind the course, typically a university, non-profit or NGO. You pay nothing in either case. You still enrol through the checkout, but without payment: there is no order button with an obligation to pay, no immediate-access box and no withdrawal function, because there is no payment to withdraw from or refund. These terms still apply to your use. Who may use enrolment codes is explained in the Enrolment-code and discount eligibility policy. You can leave a free or code-based course at any time.
12. Certificates
Some courses issue a certificate. Unless the course page says otherwise, a Neda eCampus certificate is a certificate of completion. It records that the named person completed the course’s required activities on the stated date. It is not an accredited qualification, a professional licence or a recognised academic award, and neither we nor creators claim it is equivalent to one. Where a creator is an accredited body and the course page says the certificate carries that accreditation, that statement is the creator’s, and the creator is responsible for it.
A certificate is issued only when you have met the course’s completion requirements, which are set for each course and shown in the course. If a purchase is refunded, any certificate issued for it is withdrawn, and we may say so to anyone who asks us to verify it. Being issued a certificate does not affect your legal rights if a course is faulty (section 9).
13. Using course content
Course content belongs to us or to the creator who made it. When you enrol, you get a personal, non-transferable right to use the course for your own learning, for as long as you have access.
You may not copy or distribute course content, share your access, resell it, or use it to train or improve an AI system or other automated system. The exceptions are where the course page grants a wider licence (for example, a Creative Commons licence) or where the law allows a use regardless of what these terms say.
14. What you post: your content
In some courses you can post in forums, submit assignments, or upload files. What you create remains yours. So that we can run the course, you give us a non-exclusive, free licence to store, copy, display and process your content, only as needed to operate the course and the platform. In practice this means:
- forum posts are shown to the other participants and teachers of that course;
- assignments are shown to the people who assess them, which for a creator’s course includes the creator and any teachers they appoint;
- your content is included in our backups and kept for as long as the course is kept, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not use your content to advertise, we do not sell it, and we do not use it, or any other personal data or course content, to train AI models. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups until they expire, and anything we must keep by law.
You are responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to share, and nothing that breaks the Acceptable Use and Content Standards.
15. Conduct and reporting unlawful content
What may and may not be published or posted on Neda eCampus, and what we do when something breaks the rules, is set out in the Acceptable Use and Content Standards. If you believe content on Neda eCampus is unlawful or infringes your rights, the Copyright and takedown page explains how to tell us and what we do next.
16. Availability
We aim to keep Neda eCampus available at all times, but we cannot guarantee it. We need to carry out maintenance, and systems outside our control sometimes fail. Where we reasonably can, we announce planned maintenance in advance. An interruption that stops you from using a course you have bought for an unreasonable time is a conformity problem under section 9.
17. Changes to courses and to the platform
Creators improve and update their courses. Updates that keep a course consistent with its description are a normal part of the service. We also maintain and develop the platform: we update the learning systems, fix problems and add or retire features.
Beyond such updates, we change a course you have bought, or the way you access it, only if there is a valid reason: for example, a change in the law, a security need, the end of support for software the platform relies on, or a significant improvement in how the platform works. Any such change costs you nothing, and we tell you about it clearly.
If a change will make your access to or use of a course you have bought worse, in more than a minor way, we tell you by email in reasonable time beforehand. You can then end the contract for that course free of charge within 30 days of the change (or of our email, if it reaches you later), and we refund a proportionate part of the price. You do not have this right if we let you keep using the course unchanged, at no extra cost.
18. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for a valid reason, such as a change in the law or in court decisions, a new feature or service, a security need, or to make the terms clearer. Each version is dated, and earlier versions are available on request.
- New purchases are made under the version of the terms in force at the time, which you accept at checkout.
- For your existing account, we email you at least 30 days before a change takes effect. The email explains what is changing and points out that the change will apply to you unless you object before the effective date, and what happens if you do.
- Accepting at log-in. We may also ask you to accept the new version when you next log in. Until you accept, or until the change takes effect, whichever is earlier, the earlier version continues to apply to you. If you decline, that counts as an objection: you can end your contract as described in the next point, and you can still write to us at info@neda-els.com about any course you have paid for — we will not leave you without access to it while we sort it out.
- If you object, you can end your contract with us free of charge before the change takes effect. If the change is materially to your disadvantage and you end the contract for that reason, we refund a proportionate part of the price of any paid course you can no longer use.
- What a change will never do: raise the price of something you have already bought, shorten access you have already paid for, or change the essential nature of what you bought.
Changes required by law, or that only benefit you, may take effect sooner.
19. Suspension and termination
When we may act. We may restrict, suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or the Acceptable Use and Content Standards, if the law requires us to, or if your account is used to attack the platform or other users. Our response is proportionate: we start with the mildest step that solves the problem. The steps are described in the Acceptable Use and Content Standards.
We tell you why. When we restrict your account or your content, we send you a statement of reasons: what we did, the facts we relied on, which rule or law it is based on, and how you can challenge it. The only exceptions are where the law forbids us to tell you, or where telling you would put someone at risk. You can ask us to reconsider by replying to info@neda-els.com. Someone who was not involved in the original decision reviews it.
What happens to paid courses. If we close your account because you seriously or repeatedly broke these terms, you lose access to its courses and we do not refund them, unless the law requires otherwise. If we end your access to a paid course for any other reason that is not your fault, we refund a proportionate part of the price, or more where section 9 or 10 gives you more.
If you close your account. You can do so at any time (section 3). Closing an account is not a withdrawal and does not by itself give a refund. If you are still within your withdrawal period, or have a claim under section 9, those rights are unaffected; the Refund and Withdrawal Policy applies.
20. Our liability
If you are a consumer: we are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for death or personal injury caused by any fault on our part. For damage caused by slight negligence that is not personal injury, we are not liable, except where the mandatory law that applies to you does not allow this exclusion. Your rights under section 9, under product liability law and under other mandatory consumer-protection law are not affected.
If you are a business customer: we are not liable for slight negligence, for loss of profit, business or data, or for indirect loss. Our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount paid for it. These limits do not apply to death or personal injury, or to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
We are responsible for the services of the providers we use to run Neda eCampus as for our own. Separate services that you choose to use, such as signing in with Google, are governed by that provider’s own terms.
21. Law and courts
These terms, and every contract made under them, are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer and live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of that country.
If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings against us in the courts where you live or in the courts where we are established. We may bring proceedings against you only in the courts where you live. If you are a business customer, the courts with jurisdiction for our registered address have exclusive jurisdiction.
22. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something has gone wrong, tell us first at info@neda-els.com or through the contact form. A person reads every complaint. How we handle complaints, and the out-of-court routes available to you, are explained on the Dispute resolution page. Nothing in these terms takes away your right to go to court.
23. Language and general points
These terms are written in English, and the English text governs. Our policies, including these terms, are shown in English in every language our website offers. Other pages of our website are offered in several languages. Those translations are for your convenience only, may contain errors, and are not part of the contract.
If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest remains in force, and the invalid part is replaced by the rule the law provides. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
24. What changed in version 2.0
Compared with version 1.0 of 22 August 2026:
- Paying for courses: card payments through Stripe; prices in euros with no VAT added (we use the Austrian small-business exemption); how an order becomes a contract, and the “Buy now” button (sections 6 and 7).
- Your right of withdrawal: the box for immediate access is now required for paid courses, and you can withdraw online from My account (section 8 and the Refund and Withdrawal Policy).
- Your rights if a course is faulty are set out in full (section 9).
- No minimum age; what applies if you are under 18 or under 14 (section 2).
- Accounts: Google is the only external log-in (LinkedIn was removed); two-factor authentication; how you accept these terms (section 3).
- Your own content in forums and assignments, and that nothing is used to train AI (section 14).
- Changes to courses and to these terms: what we may change, how we tell you, acceptance at log-in, and your right to end the contract with a proportionate refund (sections 17 and 18).
- Suspension, liability, law and courts rewritten to protect consumers more clearly (sections 19 to 21).
Version 2.2 (draft pending legal review) — effective 20 October 2026, last updated 19 October 2026. Earlier versions are available on request from info@neda-els.com.
