Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when you can get your money back, how to ask, and what happens to your access when you do. It applies to everything sold on Neda eCampus: courses bought by learners, and course spaces bought by creators. The seller in every case is Neda eLearning Solutions, Austria (Imprint).

1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer, the law gives you 14 days from the day of purchase to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason (§ 11 Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU). To exercise it, tell us clearly that you are withdrawing — an email to info@neda-els.com is enough, or you can use the model form at the end of this page. We will confirm receipt and refund you within 14 days of your message, to the payment method you used.

2. Why the right usually ends at checkout for a course

A course is digital content that we make available to you immediately. The law allows the right of withdrawal to end early for digital content if you expressly agree to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the right by doing so (§ 18(1)(11) FAGG). We ask you to do exactly that at checkout, with a tick box that is not pre-ticked, and we keep a record of it with your order.

So: if you ticked the box and the course was made available to you, the 14-day right does not apply to that purchase. If you did not tick it, access begins only after the 14 days have passed, and you may withdraw at any point before then.

3. When we refund anyway

Losing the statutory right does not mean losing every right. We refund in full, at any time, if:

  • the course is materially not what its page described — missing sections, a different subject, a language other than the one stated;
  • the course cannot be accessed because of a fault on our side that we do not fix within a reasonable time after you tell us;
  • we remove the course from the platform within 30 days of your purchase for any reason other than your own breach of the terms.

These are your rights under the statutory warranty for digital content (§§ 7–19 Verbrauchergewährleistungsgesetz), and we honour them regardless of the withdrawal box. Tell us what is wrong at info@neda-els.com; we will look at the course, not argue.

Separately, and as a matter of goodwill rather than obligation: if you bought a course by mistake — the wrong one, or twice — and have not opened it, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it.

4. What a refund does to your access

A refunded course is removed from your account at the time of the refund. Any certificate issued for it is withdrawn. Your progress is deleted with the enrolment; if you buy the course again later, you start from the beginning.

5. Course spaces bought by creators

A course space is an annual service. If you buy one as a consumer, the 14-day right applies, and we begin providing the service — creating your space on the platform — only once you ask us to, with the acknowledgement that a withdrawal afterwards will be charged pro rata for the days used. If you buy as a business, there is no statutory right of withdrawal; the Creator Agreement governs cancellation.

The refund conditions that apply to Creator plan fees are currently being finalised, and will be published before Neda Creator plans become available for purchase. Section 3 continues to apply where the platform itself is at fault.

6. Free courses and enrolment codes

Nothing was paid, so there is nothing to refund. You may leave a free or code-based course at any time from your course list.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a problem, please contact us before asking your card issuer to reverse the payment: we can usually resolve it faster. Where a chargeback is raised for a purchase that was delivered as described and for which the withdrawal acknowledgement was given, we will provide that record to the card issuer. Access to the course is suspended while a chargeback is open.

8. How refunds are paid

To the payment method you used, in the currency you were charged in. Where you paid in a currency other than the euro, the amount refunded is the amount you paid; exchange-rate movement in between is not adjusted in either direction, and your bank may apply its own rate and fees to the incoming refund as it did to the payment.

Model withdrawal form

You do not have to use this form — any clear statement works — but if you would like to, copy it into an email to info@neda-els.com:
