Draft — pending legal review. Version 2.1 · Effective 20 October 2026 · Last updated 19 October 2026. This text is in force as published here; it is being reviewed by a lawyer and may be revised, and any revision that affects you will be announced as described below.
This page is written in English, and the English text is the authoritative version. It is shown in English whichever language you choose in the language switcher, with a short note at the top in your language, until translations of our policies have had legal review.
This policy explains your right to withdraw from a purchase, your rights if something you bought is faulty, when we refund beyond what the law requires, and how refunds are paid. It applies to everything sold on Neda eCampus. The seller in every case is Neda eLearning Solutions, Austria (“Neda”, “we”); our full details are in the Imprint. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. At a glance
| Situation | What applies | Section |
|---|---|---|
| You bought a paid course as a consumer and want to change your mind | 14-day right of withdrawal, which ends once access begins if you asked for immediate access | 2 and 3 |
| The course is faulty or not as described | Your legal rights: repair, price reduction, or ending the contract with a refund. The withdrawal question does not matter. | 4 |
| We remove a paid course within 30 days of purchase | Full refund | 5 |
| You bought the wrong course, or the same one twice, and have not opened it | Full refund if you tell us within 14 days (goodwill) | 5 |
| Creator plans and course spaces | Not on sale yet; the rules that will apply are set out in advance | 7 |
| Free courses and enrolment codes | Nothing to refund; you can leave at any time | 8 |
2. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, the law gives you the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day the contract is made, which is the day we confirm your order. For paid courses, the right can end earlier, as section 3 explains.
To withdraw, tell us clearly that you are withdrawing. You can:
- use the online withdrawal function: sign in, go to My account → Orders, choose Withdraw from contract here next to the order, fill in the short form and press Confirm withdrawal. We email you an acknowledgement straight away, showing what you sent and the date and time we received it. The order email links to the same page;
- send an email to info@neda-els.com; or
- use the model withdrawal form at the end of this page. You do not have to use it; any clear statement is enough.
You meet the deadline if you send your withdrawal before the 14 days are over. We confirm receipt by email without delay. We refund everything you paid for the purchase within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal (section 9), and your access to what you withdrew from ends.
3. Paid courses: immediate access and the end of the right
A course is digital content that we can make available to you straight away. The law allows the right of withdrawal to end when we start providing digital content, but only if all three of these things happen:
- before you order, you expressly agree that we start providing the course before the 14 days are over;
- you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access begins; and
- we confirm your consent and acknowledgement in a durable form. We do this in the order confirmation email.
At checkout, you give the consent and acknowledgement by ticking a separate box. The box is not ticked in advance, and it is separate from accepting the terms. We keep a record of it with your order.
So: if you ticked the box, we confirmed it by email, and the course was made available to you, the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies to that purchase. If any of the three steps is missing, your right of withdrawal continues for the full 14 days, and if you withdraw you owe us nothing for the access you have already had.
The box is required for paid courses: a course is sold for immediate access, so an order cannot be placed without it. If you would rather keep your 14-day right of withdrawal, please do not place the order — write to us at info@neda-els.com first and tell us which course you are interested in. You can always ask us about a course before you buy it.
Losing the right of withdrawal does not affect your rights if the course turns out to be faulty (section 4).
4. If a course is faulty: your legal rights
A course must match its description on the course page and work as you can reasonably expect: for example, its sections must be there, it must be on the stated subject and in the stated language, and its lessons must open. If it does not, you have legal rights as a consumer, whether or not you ticked the immediate-access box. These rights are not a favour from us, and we cannot exclude them.
- First, a fix. You can ask us to bring the course into conformity. We do so free of charge, within a reasonable time.
- Then, a price reduction or your money back. If we cannot fix it, refuse, or do not fix it in reasonable time, or if the problem is serious, you can ask for a price reduction, or end the contract and get a refund. You cannot end the contract for a minor problem, but you can still ask for a price reduction.
- Faults on our side count. If you cannot access a course because of a fault on our side that we do not fix in reasonable time after you tell us, that is a conformity problem too.
Tell us what is wrong at info@neda-els.com. We will look at the course, not argue. Section 9 of the Terms of Service explains these rights in more detail, including who has to prove what.
5. When we refund beyond what the law requires
These are our own commitments. They add to your legal rights; they do not replace them.
- We remove a course soon after you buy it. If we remove a paid course from the platform within 30 days of your purchase, for any reason other than your own breach of the terms, we refund it in full.
- You bought by mistake. If you bought the wrong course, or the same course twice, and have not opened it, tell us within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it. This is goodwill, not a legal obligation.
6. What a refund does to your access
When a course is refunded, your enrolment ends and the course is removed from your account at the time of the refund. Any certificate issued for it is withdrawn. Being issued a certificate does not affect your legal rights if a course is faulty (section 4). If you buy the course again later, you may have to start from the beginning. A partial refund, such as a price reduction, does not end your access.
7. Creator plans and course spaces
Paid plans for creators, such as course spaces and access to Neda Creator, are not on sale yet. Course spaces will be sold as yearly packages that renew automatically; the packages and their prices are in section 2 of the Creator Agreement. This section sets out in advance the rules that will apply when they go on sale.
If you buy as a consumer, you have the 14-day right of withdrawal described in section 2. These plans are services provided over time, not one-off content, so the immediate-access rule in section 3 does not apply to them. Instead:
- we start providing the plan within the 14 days only if you expressly ask us to;
- if you then withdraw within the 14 days, you pay a proportionate amount for the days you had the service, and we refund the rest;
- if you did not ask us to start early, or we did not tell you about this payment rule before you ordered, you pay nothing.
If you buy as a business, there is no legal right of withdrawal. The Creator Agreement governs cancellation.
Whether, and how much of, a plan fee is refunded after the withdrawal period, for example if you cancel part-way through a term, will be published before plans go on sale. Your legal rights if the service is faulty (section 4) apply to creator plans in any case.
8. Free courses and enrolment codes
Nothing was paid, so there is nothing to refund, and the immediate-access box and the online withdrawal function do not appear for free orders. You can leave a free or code-based course at any time from your course list.
9. How and when refunds are paid
- When: without undue delay, and in any case within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal or of agreeing that you are entitled to a refund.
- How: to the payment method you used, unless you expressly agree to another method. We charge no fees for a refund.
- Currency: in euros, the amount you paid. If your card or account is in another currency, your bank converts the refund at its own rate and may charge fees, as it did for the payment. We cannot adjust for exchange-rate movements in either direction.
- Arrival: once we have issued it, a refund usually takes a few working days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
10. Chargebacks
If you have a problem, please contact us before asking your bank or card issuer to reverse a payment. We can usually sort it out faster, and contacting us does not affect your right to a chargeback. If a chargeback is raised, we give the card issuer the facts of the order, including the record of your immediate-access consent where there is one. We may pause access to the course concerned while the chargeback is open, and we restore it if the chargeback is withdrawn or decided in our favour. A chargeback is never treated as a breach of our terms in itself, and we charge no fee for it.
11. Questions
Write to info@neda-els.com or use the contact form, and include your order number if you have it. If we cannot agree, the Dispute resolution page explains your options.
